pink vest top n leopard print pants
Hi Huns...
I don't want to honk my own horn...But methinks I'm slowing becoming a connoisseur of of vest tops...Well I autta be...I made far too many...no to be...
Cuting on the bias...For those who don't know...The bias is perpendicular to the weft and warp of your fabric...So in laymen terms...Diagonally across your fabric...Where there is the most stretch...From raw edge to raw edge...
Now...the pants...My 1st proper stab at making a lounge wear piece...I could get use to this...
Although its jersey fabric...it's a tad bit unpredictable...But the end result is very rewarding...
Ooh and quickly before i forget...Another tip if you wanna know...
Tip: From what I've experienced ...The trick with jersey is to gently guide it...softly, softly approach...Don't be pulling or stretching at the fabric...As jersey is very impressionable...Can easily be pulled or stretched out of shape...So my motto...Softly does it...
