MULTI TRIMMED KIMONO

Hi Huns...

So...this is my version of a technical colour dream coat...in a Kimono...

Ok!, lemme briefly explained the name behind the kimono...There's was a theater / play of song and dance that came on in around the 80's / 90's was very popular...Showing my age now...

The main character worn this mad...I mean maad colourful...textured cloak...Almost like a magical wizard...Now...in some weird way...My kimono reminds me of it...In the sense that i threw every trimming that I own at it...it's got tassels on it...lace...brown pom- poms...Purple pom poms...green velvet trimmings...Orange velvet trimmings...Embroidery stitches...You name it...All bells N whistles...I really went wild on this one...

Material

  • Fabric used for kimono: Silky satin polyester from walthamstow market stall E17

  • All trimmings used: From walthamstow market trimmings stall E17

Happy sewing!
