NAVY VEST TOP WITH APPLIQUE and LINEN APPLIQUÉ SKIRT
Hi Huns...
Finally it's safe to say...Spring/Summer is here...WOOHOO!...yesterday London...east London...was crazy hot...NIIIICE!, not complaining...
So this skirt actually started off its journey as a plain linen shirt dress...brought ages and ages ago from Next directory...Fell outta love with it... decided not to throw it away...but to take it apart instead...So i remade something else...and viola...Enter the Applique skirt...
I used the epalettes that were originally for the shoulders of the dress as belt loops N the pockets that use to be positioned at bust point for back pockets...Then used cotton tape trimmings I had banging about in my sewing kit box to bring it to life...
Vest top as you know made by moi...Made sooo many different shade colours texture and the rest...just right for this UK temperature at the moment...which I'm loving... I found the white floral applique lonely and abandoned which i used for the top...hidden deep in one of my sewing boxes of off cuts N trimmings, scraps...you name it....I love it when I find gems...
I've totally forgotten about and then revive it...
