frilled to bits

frilled drawstring cotton dress

Hi Huns...

Trial N error...Doing abit of experimenting with my self drafting skills here...

Keep growing...keep learning...Keep perfecting...Harnesting the craft....

Although at times it may seem challenging or even impossible with outside factors...

Body tired...an active social life...daily routinal chores...Family life...day job or major responsibilities...Life!...We've all been there...where you get into a slump and lose your sewjo....

Did you see what i did there....sewjo....Meaning mojo...Well...anyway you get the gist of it...

Having a creative mind sometimes doesnt necessarily equal motivated...Such is life..

But there are many ways we can draw out that creativity within and try to remember what got us here in the first place...Here are a few tips or motos i live by that set me straight...

1. Start as you mean to go on...

Get enough sleep or go to bed at a decent time in order to function right the next day...

Dont expect a late nights to help you out early the next day...NOPE! you'll be sadly mistaken...You will be tired...and wonder why the brain is only operating on the capacity of 20%, if that....rather than going 100%....That just set the tone for the rest of the day...Catching your tail...Not the one!...

2. Set time and just do it...

I find the longer i procrastinate the longer i will put it off...and my...i wills...turn into wont!...and a multitudes of excuses...Allocate the time and just go for it...Full throttle!...

3. Outdoorsy...One with nature...

I find the simpliest of things like taking walks and obsorbing my surroundings...Different enviroment...Fresh air...Nature...Can do wonders for the mind...Reset...Re-focus and start again...Geting rid of all the unwanted negative thoughts...That try and kreep in from time to time...Which is natural were only human...

4. Last and not least...Love what you do...

Remember what got YOU! started in the first place...do it with passion and let rip!...It doesnt have to be perfect...Lets face it...Nothing in life ever is peeps...Cos get what...theres no such thing...But the most important thing is...Is that you have fun and be free with your creativity...as the more we use our creativity the more we obtain...

Now peeps...I know this might not work for everybody as everyone has different circumstances...But you tailor your needs to fit your lifestyle...Now...What are you waiting for... Get creative peeps! x
