The colour purple
Hi huns,
Did you know that historically the colour purple has been deemed as royalty...And the darker hues suggest magic and mystery...
Well that is certainly food for though aye!...So my shade of purple is definately a colour best matched with the quality chocolate tin box...But hear the name though 'Quality'....Hmmm
Anyway i spent the best part of an 1hour trying to place this pocket on a finished garment...Only becoz prior it looked uniformed to the 10's of dozens i have knocking about in my wardrobe already...So what do you reckon...have i transformed it?!...Not much...I look to doing more creative shirts in the future...But for now I'm just trying to perfect my craft one garment at a time...
This sequin skirt, can't take the credit for...Not made by moi...but just as good as...Do you know how looooong i had to wait for this sequin skirt to get into my clutches...only ..FOREVER!...Its a hand me down from wonderful mumma...It actually comes as a 2 piece...Unfortunately the top is waaay too small for me...Busting outta of it, so i had to give it up...And I'm not slimming down anytime soon just to fit into it either let alone anything else...Just saying, Is contented right here...thank you very much...
While we are on the topic of sequins
The word sequins derives from the arabic word for coin 'sikka' and long before in the dynasty/Pharaoh...King Tut days, they use to sew in gold coins onto ceremonial robes to indicate both wealth and importance...
And there you go...You see i knew i came from a long line of royalty...YAAAAS!
Kings and queens people...Empresses and pharaohs...My ancenters...Swagging in ancient times...Now I'm out here just reppin'...History repeats...X
