CREAM CHIFFON SHIRT N TAUPE FAUX LEATHER SKIRT
Hi Huns...
So...a lil bit of sew-through never hurt nobody...Rrrright...Flirting with abit of chiffon fabric...I think by the end of day 1 make...it certainly wasn't flirting with me...This fabric was not playing ball...At all
Chiffon can be your best-est friend once made...Done and dusted...But in the process can be your darkest enemy...Alot of F**** and S***...Excuse my french...Well i cant lie...But having said that...we finally made it in the end...
TIP: For any New sewers...As beautiful and angelic chiffon looks...***Stay away*** from chiffon as a starting reference point in your budding future as sewist...As this could essentially put you off from a life time of sewing...So, give yourself time and work yourself up to it...And when you feel ready to take on a challenge, of abit of chiffon...Then go for it...
But there is light at the end of the tunnel...After you have mastered the one or two...
Its plain sailing from there...Look this comes from a lil bit of experience and from a really good place...As i don't want you to be disheartened and put off...As sewing is a beautiful, therapeutic and patient craft to learn...Once learnt...it's sooo rewarding...
